Dean’s Scholar program expands
Aspiring to be osteoarchaeologists, federal prosecutors and museum curators, the latest cohort of Humanities and Social Sciences Dean’s Scholars have big plans for the future. Thanks to contributions from college donors, the seven recipients of this year’s Dean’s Scholar Award can also plan on being something else — experiential learners.
Student of the Month: Hayden Russell
Hayden Russell is a graduating senior majoring in English and minoring in Classical Studies. A University Scholar, he has two ongoing research projects and an editorial internship, has studied abroad in the UK, and is a member of the Skateboarding and Game Design clubs. Hayden intends to continue his education in digital rhetoric and game studies at the graduate level.

NC Literary Festival: Treats Galore for Lit Lovers
Make plans now to attend the NC Literary Festival April 3 - 6 in and around the Hunt Library on NC State's Centennial Campus. Hear your favorite authors from across the university and across the country read from their work. Discuss genres ranging from poetry to cooking, fiction and science fiction.
