Join us for a screening of the critically-acclaimed documentary produced by NC State’s Language and Life Project, Talking Black in America. The film examines the rich history and characteristics of African-American English and the powerful role of language in African-American culture. A panel discussion following the screening includes executive producer Dr. Walt Wolfram, Dr. Rupert Nacoste and a representative of the Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA). Free and open to the public.
