Student of the Month: Alexandra Goodfred
Alexandra Goodfred is a senior with anthropology and English majors, and a French minor. She interns with a Raleigh book publisher, is Anthropology Club president, and is in the Scholars Program. She has studied abroad in Thailand and the U.K., and looks forward to a career in publishing.

Student of the Month: Hayden Russell
Hayden Russell is a graduating senior majoring in English and minoring in Classical Studies. A University Scholar, he has two ongoing research projects and an editorial internship, has studied abroad in the UK, and is a member of the Skateboarding and Game Design clubs. Hayden intends to continue his education in digital rhetoric and game studies at the graduate level.
January Student of the Month
Brooke Wilner is a sophomore Caldwell Fellow and Benjamin Franklin Scholar, pursuing a degree in both English and Aerospace Engineering. She is involved with the Feed The Pack Food Pantry, Writing and Speaking Tutorial Services, and CSLEP's Leadership in Action program. She studied abroad at Oxford in Summer 2013.
November Student of the Month
Halle Mangrum is a sophomore majoring in English. She is a Caldwell Fellow who has been a Technician staff writer, a cast member of NC State's The Heidi Chronicles, and a member of student groups such as Habitat for Humanity. She currently enjoys working on short films and on her first novel.
January 2013 Student of the Month
This month's CHASS student of the month, Victoria Shockley, is a sophomore with an English major and French minor. She writes and edits for various publications, and expects to have a novella published later this year. Victoria is on track to graduate one year early, and stays active on campus while commuting each day from Wake Forest.
