Dufresne Presented at NeMLA 2020

Second-year MA literature concentration student, Kelsey Virginia Downs Dufresne, presented at the 51st annual NeMLA convention last week in Boston, MA.

She shared, “I was in Boston for the NeMLA 2020 Conference presenting on the Sylvia Plath is Perfected: Recent Directions in Plath Studies panel with my research concerning Plath pedagogy, “The Edges of My Mother: Teaching Frieda Hughes and Sylvia Plath.” Significantly, this conference featured two panels on Plath as well as numerous others in which she was addressed and/or discussed – cementing the significance of Plath in scholarship, the classroom, and even in her own city of birth.”

Congratulations to Kelsey on her achievement!
