On April 7, Carolyn Miller was a panel respondent for “Time to Take Stock: What We Can (and Can’t) Learn from Current CHAT Methodology in Writing Studies Research” at the Conference on College Composition and Communication, Houston. 

She gave an invited presentation titled “‘Tree Thinking’: The Role of Tree Diagrams in Biological Thought” to the Virginia Tech Department of English on April 27.
