Chris Anson spoke at the University of Limerick, Dublin Institute of Technology, and Maynooth University in Ireland after the end of the spring semester. He also spoke at the University of Cincinnati—Claremont College and at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, in May.

He gave a paper at the European Association of Teachers of Academic Writing in Tallin, Estonia, in June.

In July, he gave a paper at the WPA conference in Boise, Idaho, and spoke at West Virginia Wesleyan College.

In August, he helped to run the Fifth Annual Seminar for Composition Research at Dartmouth College.

Anson also published the following article:  “Crossing Thresholds: What’s to Know About Writing Across the Curriculum?” in Naming What We Know: Threshold Concepts of Writing Studies, from Utah State University Press.
