On May 7, Marsha Gordon gave an invited lecture titled “Untrained Eyes: GIs Shooting Movies at the Close of World War II” at the Austrian Film Museum/IFK, Vienna. She also introduced two films at the museum: Sam Fuller’s VE+1 and (with Ingo Zechner) George Stevens’ amateur footage.
She introduced and ran a Q & A session for a screening of the documentary A Fuller Life at the Colony Theater on May 21.
On June 16, she gave an invited presentation to NCSU’s Friends of the Library board about the “Shooting Wars” project generated in her ENG 585: War
Finally, she presented two of her monthly radio segments on WUNC’s The State of Things: film comedies on May 12 and science fiction films on June 16.
