A new edition of Susan Miller-Cochran’s handbook with Ann Raimes, Keys for Writers with Assignment Guides (7th Ed.), was released from Wadsworth/Cengage Learning at the end of October.

She presented on Writing in the Disciplines approaches to teaching first-year writing in a Cengage Learning webinar on November 7 and at SAMLA on November 9.

In addition, she led a workshop (“Writing Program Administration and ESL Writers”) and was a plenary speaker at the Symposium on Second Language Writing at Arizona State University on November 13, and she also facilitated a faculty development workshop on “Responding to Student Writing” at UNC Pembroke on November 21.
