On November 9, Gene Melton participated in the “Performance, Performativity, and the Harlem Renaissance” Seminar at the Modernist Studies Association Conference in Pittsburgh, PA.  His paper focused on “Erotic Friendship and Intertextuality in the Fiction of Richard Bruce Nugent.”
